These Four Steps Made My Dreams Come True
It isn’t magical thinking that does it! Now that I have finished Two Rivers: Book VII of the Locket Saga, I have been inspired to write Moonrise on the Mississippi: Book VIII of the Locket Saga. It has been a dream of mine to continue writing these books, and I am making this dream come true. I have no doubt that this dream will also come true for me because I know the secret to making my dreams…

Everyone is so focused on certain positions when it comes to israel that we neglect to consider the plan that norman boutin proposed in his magnum opus Empress Theresa:
Creating an artificial land bridge to crete and moving the entire population of israel across the bridge to said island. This solves everything, btw

Nahida being implied to have picked a side between Kaveh and Alhaitham and choosing Kaveh is so funny to me. about alhaitham she's like "yeah he's really smart but he's also an annoying know it all and nobody likes him" and about kaveh she's like "most of his ethical views align with my (god of wisdom) own :) the way he sees the world is so cool and epic"
Like yes alhaitham is her acting grand sage. Yes he helped save her from her 500 year imprisonment. He's also. An asshole. Kaveh is nice and makes cool buildings :)

well, now I've been kerb-stomped by both a giant and a dragon, but apparently that isn't a Steam achievement?
But it's a fun day to have earned this one.

I'm helping customers as much as I was a few months ago, I'm still providing good service and good outcomes and I'm more knowledgeable than ever. And I care about my job and we work well as a team and I generally feel like I know what I'm doing.
But, new management have brought in measures to track every single thing we do, we're being observed almost daily by managers, we have targets that aren't technically targets, but "why haven't you done the recommended amount this week?"
There's so many extra things to do, which don't actually add anything to the service we provide, just make us all more on edge and stressed. I'm being made to feel like if I do something wrong, they'll close our department and it will be my fault - because it couldn't possibly be anything to do with the stupid decisions that have been passed down from people making five times my salary.
This doesn't even scratch the service in terms of redundancies and extra training and extra work load and extra responsibilities and reduced benefits and just. Fuck it all.

Do you follow the DR light novels? If so what do you make of them?
I don't, no, though I have read some summaries. My impression of them is that they're really over the top (unnecessarily and unrealistically so, perhaps), but they seem like they were a lot of fun to write and exciting for the target audience to read!
For me, with the exception of when I'm sleep deprived, I'm prone to calling things melodramatic haha... I feel like the light novels would fall victim to that if I read them...

I don’t want anyone to except maybe my employer and scholarships#I don’t want to be beholden to anyone in that way#and just honestly fuck him#fuck him and his money and rich little life that I was never really a part of#only a fucking trophy to show off about how well behaved I was because mom raised me#look at how smart they are! look at their achievements! isn’t what I created great!#he couldn’t even be fucking bothered to say congrats when I graduated with three majors#and gods forbid there’s the possibility I might be more knowledgeable on a topic than him#he can’t even respect my identity or friends or my girlfriend who I’ve been with for years#but no I’m the terrible person if I don’t thank him for his generous gift of trying to get me to fit his life when he’s the bastard#who forced me into existence and then didn’t try to be apart of mine

how to lose weight with Carb Cycling
Losing weight with carb cycling involves strategically adjusting your carbohydrate intake while maintaining a calorie deficit. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
1. Set Your Goals: Define your weight loss goals and establish a realistic timeframe for achieving them. Consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian to ensure your goals are safe and attainable.
2. Calculate Your Calories: Determine your daily caloric needs for weight loss. You'll need to create a calorie deficit by consuming fewer calories than your body burns. Online calculators or professional guidance can help with this.
3. Plan Your Cycling Schedule: Decide on your carb cycling schedule. Common approaches include alternating between high, moderate, and low-carb days throughout the week. For example, you could have three high-carb days, two moderate-carb days, and two low-carb days.
4. Choose Carb Sources: Select healthy carbohydrate sources for each day. On high-carb days, focus on complex carbs like whole grains, fruits, and starchy vegetables. On low-carb days, prioritize non-starchy vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats.
5. Monitor Portion Sizes: Be mindful of portion sizes to control calorie intake. Overeating, even on healthier foods, can hinder weight loss progress.
6. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Hydration is important for overall health and can also support weight loss efforts.
7. Include Lean Proteins: Incorporate lean protein sources (such as poultry, fish, lean meats, tofu, and legumes) into your meals. Protein helps with muscle preservation and satiety.
8. Include Healthy Fats: On low-carb days, include sources of healthy fats like avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil to help keep you satisfied.
9. Be Consistent: Consistency is key to success. Stick to your carb cycling plan over time to see results.
10. Monitor Progress: Regularly track your weight, measurements, and how you feel to assess your progress. Adjust your plan if needed based on your results and any feedback from your body.
11. Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how your body responds to different carb levels. Some individuals may feel better with more carbs on high-intensity workout days.
12. Combine with Exercise: Incorporate regular physical activity into your routine. A combination of cardiovascular exercise and strength training can complement your carb cycling plan.
13. Seek Professional Guidance: Consider working with a registered dietitian or nutritionist who can help personalize your carb cycling approach based on your individual needs and preferences.
Remember, carb cycling is just one strategy for weight loss. It's important to find an approach that works for you and fits your lifestyle. Always prioritize balanced nutrition, overall health, and sustainability in your weight loss journey.

It's hard to feel like protesting actually does anything when
1. Neither the democratic party nor any activist group has ANY plan or strategy at all to oppose this administration's strategies.
2. The optics are literally exactly what this administration wants to seize more power.

Mastering Goal Setting: Beyond Just Dreams
Creating goals, planning, working with affirmations, and dreaming about the future will do little to make it happen. One of the main problems with goal setting is that it is the beginning of a system, not the entire system. We hear all the time that we need to go beyond goals and create systems, but what does that mean? No one really explains what systems are and how we can create them. Here’s…
